during the 2008 presidential campaign and encourage candidates to discuss
their ideas and views on how to reduce poverty and increase opportunities
for all Americans.

Creating School to College Articulation
Project enables high school and college faculty to collaborate on and
develop articulation agreements.
Strengthening
Pre-collegiate Education in Community Colleges (SPECC)
SPECC focuses on teaching and learning in developmental mathematics and
English language arts courses that are prerequisite to the transfer-level
academic courses.
The Center for Higher Education
Policy Analysis (CHEPA)
Located at Rossier School of Education at the University of Southern California,
CHEPA focuses on improving urban postsecondary education and strengthening
school-university partnerships.
The US Department of Labor Employment
and Training Administration (ETA)
The ETA seeks to build up the labor market through the training of the
workforce and the placement of workers in jobs through employment services.
The UCLA Anderson Forecast
The UCLA Anderson Forecast provides forecasts for the economies of California
and the United States.
