SUMMARY:Strengthening Collaboration to Advance Dual Enrollment Equity
DESCRIPTION:CLP is presenting at the ETW Education Equity Forum 2026. \nSession Description: Through California’s College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) dual enrollment\, practitioners have the state charge to prioritize underrepresented students in implementation. So\, how can counselors\, college and career leaders\, and dual enrollment administrators across California’s college and TK-12 systems collaborate to expand dual enrollment access and support students who stand to benefit most? Strong partnership grounded in equity and shared responsibility across the school\, district\, and college levels remains key to removing barriers for California’s Black\, Latinx\, and Native American students. Join EdTrust-West and Career Ladders Project in this workshop to support intentional coordination\, planning\, and outreach in dual enrollment partnerships. Participants will map their dual enrollment team and prioritize outreach strategies using actionable guides developed by EdTrust-West and Career Ladders Project. \nPresenters:\nLaurencia Walker\, Director\, Career Ladders Project\nCamille Medrano\, Senior Associate Educator Engagement\, EdTrust-West

SUMMARY:Retention Lives in Relationship: Strengthening Student Support at Mendocino College
DESCRIPTION:SSSC26 Session Description \nOver a three-year partnership\, Mendocino College and the Career Ladders Project worked to strengthen the college’s capacity as a Hispanic-Serving Institution by focusing on equity-minded practices\, servingness\, and relationship-centered student support. Through professional learning sessions\, student journey mapping\, and cross-campus collaboration\, faculty\, staff\, and administrators examined how institutional culture\, mindsets\, and everyday practices impact student belonging\, persistence\, and completion. This session will share the structure of this work\, lessons learned\, and examples of small but meaningful practice changes that improved the student experience. Participants will engage in interactive activities and leave with tools and strategies to support culture change and improve student success on their own campuses. \nPresenters\nByron Reaves\, Director\, Career Ladders Project\nUlises Velasco\, Vice President\, Student Services\, Mendocino College \nRoom: Garden 1
