CLP has produced a brief video featuring Dr. Cecilia Rios-Aguilar, professor of education and the associate dean of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at UCLA’s Graduate School of Education and Information Studies, discussing her findings based on a research partnership with a CA community college and interviews with scores of students at the college. Dr. Rios-Aguilar shared how students make career choices and how Guided Pathways can support students based on their experiences. This new video includes highlights from her keynote at CLP’s workshop (funded by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office) Designing with Careers in Mind: A Guided Pathways Workshop and a follow-up interview.
