SSSC23 Equitable Dual Enrollment: Lessons Learned from a Community of Practice

In this session, college practitioners will share how they leveraged learnings from a community of practice to improve equitable access to dual enrollment. Partners utilized shared data to identify disproportionate access and created plans to recruit and support priority student populations. We will share the structure and development of the community of practice, from site selection to monthly meeting topics and resources shared. This structure can be brought back to campuses and modified for local context. Participants will learn about each college’s journey to provide more equitable dual enrollment including navigating challenges and highlighting bright spots. Participants in this session will take away resources to help in designing more equitable dual enrollment opportunities and strategies to develop a community of practice with their partners at their college campuses.
