The Pathways Impact Fund has curated “enablement stacks” — collections of resources that work together — focused on the components of purposeful pathways: advising, dual enrollment, and career-connected learning. When integrated in a pathway, these elements support student success and promote a sense of belonging. Each stack includes a cornerstone that sets forth key principles, along with resources on diagnostics, validated metrics, and inquiry guides designed for use by facilitators of pathway work.

These are some of the resources we’ll be using to inform the work of the California Pathways Proof Points initiative. The enablement stacks were developed for a national audience and present a broad perspective, and they can be adapted for use in the local California context.medical students using blood pressure machine They will provide a conceptual foundation for strengthening purposeful pathways in the four Proof Points regions: the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the San Joaquin Valley.

As the initiative progresses, we’ll share updates from the regions and high school/college partnership sites with the field. Due to the variation in sites — by population, local economy, pathway focus, and other factors — we’re anticipating a rich body of learning and innovation.
