Recent “clean up” legislation (AB 133) clarified that the reduced 180-instructional-minute minimum requirement applies to students in grades 9-12 who are participating in College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP), Early College, or Middle College programs.
Compared with the traditional 240-minute requirement, the reduced 180-minute minimum offers more opportunities for partnerships to schedule college courses within the school day.
