East Los Angeles College (ELAC) held the third annual Student-Led Dual Enrollment Summit on March 26. Produced by current and former dual enrollment students, the event brought high school students to the college campus to learn about dual enrollment opportunities. The summit is sponsored by the California Community Foundation (CCF).
CLP has worked with and learned from ELAC for many years (read our story about how ELAC partners with community-based organizations). At the event, we were honored to receive the Dual Enrollment Champion Award from CCF for “visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing equitable dual enrollment pathways throughout California.”
