Check out a new learning and communication resource on high-quality dual enrollment, recently released by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The resource is a learning deck of slides that tells the story of how dual enrollment can “help students find paths that resonate with them, allow students to start building towards their futures, and expand equity and inclusion in higher ed.” Implementation case studies (slides 19-23) profile dual enrollment partnerships in Texas and California (Bakersfield College and McFarland High School in the Central Valley).
The accompanying blog post, Maximizing the Potential of Dual Enrollment, notes that the learning deck draws lessons from numerous national and state-based organizations (including CLP!) that are working to expand access and ensure that dual enrollment pathways are high quality and college/career aligned.
