Yeraldiny “Geri” Jose Alonzo

senior program associate

Before joining CLP, Geri worked as a Program Assistant and then as a Program Specialist at Hartnell College, overseeing day-to-day operations for the College Readiness Office. While at Hartnell, she promoted dual enrollment at local high schools across the county, working closely with six high school districts and 11 high schools. Geri helped onboard over 800 high school students every semester. In addition to her dual enrollment work, she supported the curriculum and scheduling team as an interim curriculum and scheduling specialist.

Geri’s passion for education began as a student worker at Hartnell College, when she assisted the High School Equivalency Program and the counseling department. It brought her joy to be part of her college community. She was also part of the Caring Campus and Academic Affairs Success Council at Hartnell College. Geri’s primary goal is student success and increasing access for underrepresented populations. She attended CSU Monterey Bay, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a concentration in network security and a minor in business.
