Supporting Black Students and Marginalized Learners in Dual Enrollment
September 24 @ 2:15 pm - 3:45 pm
CLP will be presenting at the Ed Equity Forum 2024: Authenticity & Action. Session Description: Dual enrollment can serve as a powerful lever for racial equity in access and achievement in higher education. Early exposure to college and career pathways is particularly important for underserved students including African American students and other marginalized student groups. This session will provide equity practitioners with an overview of the dual enrollment landscape in California and the broader national context. Participants will gain insights on ideas, strategies, and approaches – developed in conversation with practitioners – that integrate dual enrollment within the existing college access landscape.
