Vision 2030: Success with Equity

College and high school practitioners from the Bay Area are invited to the Chabot College Dual Enrollment Convening. This event is being convened by the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office (CCCCO), Chabot College, and CLP.
Equitable dual enrollment is a key component of Vision 2030 and the Governor’s Roadmap for the California Community Colleges. This event will assist the system in empowering colleges to equitably serve communities and advance the three goals of Vision 2030: Equity in Access, Equity in Support, and Equity in Success. It will focus on the 9th grade to Baccalaureate Strategy to increase the percentage of TK-12 students who graduate with 12 or more college units.

Afternoon workshops:
- Equitable dual enrollment implementation
- Faculty focus on equitable dual enrollment
- Equitable counseling and dual enrollment
Who should attend:
- Educational partners from the Chabot service area including executive leadership of education institutions and institutions or organizations serving high school students in dual enrollment, including justice-involved youth.
- Practitioners serving high school students in dual enrollment, including justice-involved youth. This includes coordinators, directors, counselors, instructors, and case managers.
- Educational partners from the broader Bay Area region are welcome.
