WE Will! Transformative Counseling Regional Convening

November 7, 2025 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join We Will! and CLP for a dynamic one-day, regional convening with workshops focused on advancing equity-driven practices in counseling and student support services.

Through three interactive strands, participants will explore and share strategies for structuring student success teams, (re)designing counseling practices, and the role of counseling in supporting dual enrollment students. Together, we will engage in learning and collaboration to implement actionable solutions that center on student success and equity.

Wraparound Student Services
This strand invites educators and support staff to explore innovative practices in building and utilizing Student Success Teams to achieve equitable outcomes. Administrators, coordinators, success coaches, advisors, navigators, and other student support professionals will gain insights into overcoming common challenges and share transformative strategies. Together, we will identify actionable steps to enhance collaboration and ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive.

Transformational Counseling: Delivering Equitable Counseling
This strand is designed for counselors and administrators working to implement equitable counseling practices. Through collaborative workshops and dialogues, participants will examine strategies that meet the demands of systemic change and support the evolving needs of our diverse student populations. Learn from regional colleagues who are leading the way in redesigning counseling practices and leave with tools to drive transformative change on your campus.

Intersection of Dual Enrollment and Student Support Services
Dual enrollment pathways are transforming opportunities for students across the state, but success requires robust and equitable student support. This strand offers a foundational understanding of how student services intersect with dual enrollment, alongside strategies for ensuring student success in these programs. Participants will hear from colleges designing innovative supports and leave with practical ideas to enhance dual enrollment outcomes at their own institutions.

Audience: K-12, Community College, University Educators, and Administrators.
