Teaching the Students We Invited In: Culturally Responsive Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment is growing across California, creating new opportunities for students to experience college and begin purposeful pathways earlier in their student journey. This interactive workshop draws from a seven-month professional learning experience developed by Career Ladders Project (CLP) with the Bay Area K-16 Collaborative.

Participants will explore three areas of culturally responsive dual enrollment teaching: Creating Conditions for Success, Cultivating Learner Success, and Course Reflection and Refinement.

Through reflection, discussion, and application, participants will leave with practical strategies for strengthening faculty preparation and creating more equitable dual enrollment learning experiences.
