A Critical Time for Dual Enrollment

CLP will be co-presenting with EdTrust-West at the California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators (CALSA) Summer Institute.
Session description: California’s Dual Enrollment landscape has evolved rapidly in recent years. In the past decade we’ve seen the creation and refinement of CCAP as well as other dual enrollment programs. Supported by Governor Newsom and Chancellor Christian of the California Community Colleges, the state has made a strong commitment to embracing dual enrollment as the premier vehicle forward to further the state’s high school, college, trade, and workforce needs. Within this context, Career Ladders Project has done extensive work on technical assistance to advance the field, while EdTrust-West has been a strong legislative advocate to marry research with policy change. Both organizations release resources to help students, parents, practitioners, administrators, advocates, and legislative champions alike.
