Exploring Data and Examining Opportunity for Equitable Dual Enrollment

CLP is presenting at the COLEGAS Annual Conference. Session description: Recent reports share that there is great opportunity to improve access and success for Latino/a/x students in California community colleges’ dual enrollment programming. Nearly 56 percent of community college districts have low to moderate participation of Latino students in their respective dual enrollment offerings (ETW, 2022). This session will provide an overview of policies and practices that can support practitioners and will describe how a community of practice of both secondary and postsecondary practitioners resulted in intentional dual enrollment equity discussions and plans. Topics, tools, and templates that can support the development of localized equity plans will be shared.
