Lift Every Voice! Listening for Transformation: Black Voices Leading to Action

CLP will be presenting one of four feature sessions at the Pathways to Equity Conference in Anaheim.

Session Description: How are we responding to Black student voices? This session demonstrates the transformative power of uplifting and acting upon the voices of Black Community College students. This panel of experienced Black community college practitioners will share how they transformed Black student voices into action that is leading institutional change for Black students. Using Black student-centered approaches within instruction, counseling, and program planning, these educators will take a deeper dive and share these core practices, strategies, and provide roadmaps on how to scale these practices on your campus. Career Ladders Project (CLP) will facilitate a faculty panel discussion.
