Practice & Policy: Coordinating Universal Dual Enrollment Access

California Dual Enrollment Equity Conference: Dual enrollment momentum from state and local leaders tasks on-the-ground practitioners with scaling access for their students. To build practitioner capacity to support students, especially Black, Latinx, and Native American students, EdTrust-West and Career Ladders Project developed guides focused on intentional coordination, counseling, and recruitment. To remove system-wide barriers, coordinated statewide advocacy for dual enrollment legislation requires strong coalition and practitioner engagement. Join this session to dive into interactive guides, learn from colleagues, and understand what remains to be done to remove barriers for California’s students of color.
