A new report from the Commission for Purposeful Pathways sets forth an evidence-based blueprint for building coherent, integrated pathways that integrate high-quality advising, accelerated learning, and career-connected opportunities to support students in developing a sense of purpose, belonging, and social capital.
The report, A Launchpad for Life: A Vision for Purposeful Pathways for All Students, describes four key recommendations to implement this vision. To support communities in designing and implementing purposeful pathways that suit their local context, the Commission created three action guides—on high-impact practices, enabling conditions, and measurement—with examples and links to additional resources.
