Student Supports, Equity and Guided Pathways Online Webinars

27 May 2020

As colleges across the state move student support services online, it is important to keep both equity and student experience at the center of our redesign efforts. CLP hosted two May webinars focused on how colleges are adapting and continuing student services redesign in the virtual environment.

Here are the topics we covered, with links to recordings and presentations

On May 13, Chabot College counselor Heather Oshiro, Chaffey College counselors Fabiola Espitia and Kirk Collins, and Amy Nevarez, Dean of Counseling and Student Supports at Chaffey College, shared how they are innovating student virtual onboarding. Gabriel Martinez, chair of the counseling department at Berkeley City College, facilitated the session, engaging the speakers and webinar audience with ideas, questions, and thoughts.

Here are the recording and the presentation.
