Dual Enrollment Tools: Equitable Access and Scheduling

Description: Discover powerful tools for driving equity in dual enrollment. As dual enrollment opportunities expand, gaps in access and implementation persist—especially for historically underserved students. This session introduces two free, practitioner-informed tools designed to close those gaps: the Dual Enrollment Access Gap Tool, which helps educators assess and address barriers to dual enrollment access, and the Dual Enrollment Scheduling Tool, which supports more inclusive course scheduling aligned with student needs. Participants will try these tools and explore how they have been used by K–12 and college partners to make data-informed decisions and remove structural barriers. Whether you’re new to dual enrollment or a seasoned practitioner, you’ll leave with actionable strategies to support equitable program design.
